My father Pedro Toledo started his company in 2004 with one old truck pumping grease traps only. Around the same time I was working as a mechanic at Port Everglades In Broward doing over 70 hours of work Monday thru Friday and it was really taking a toll on me. One day I gave my father a call and asked him how work was going. He told me it was going good and he had plenty of customers. I then asked him if it would be better if he had two trucks to better serve those customers and he said “Yes”. So we talked for a while and I decided I was going to quit and go work with him so I can learn the trade. My father had some money saved up and within three months we bought a brand new truck in 2006. We were getting lots of calls for septic tank cleanings but were missing out because we were not certified. That’s when I decided I was going to become a contractor but had to have the logged experience. I then had to work for a friend for a couple of years while still working with my dad. I was finally able to meet the requirements and pass the test. We now have three trucks and are still growing strong, always excited to take new work, and ready overcome any challenge.
